Adriana Palasan

Adriana is a professional with an impressive career recognized in the fields of logistics and supply chain management. A graduate of the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, with a specialization in Automation Systems and Quality Engineering, and an MBA from Open University in the UK, Adriana began her professional journey in 1986 as an engineer at the "Timpuri Noi" Factory, applying the technical knowledge gained during her studies.

In 1994, she entered the transportation industry, founding her own road freight transportation company. Later, in 1999, she was one of the first to introduce the concept of supply chain management in Romania by founding Supply Chain Management Center, a company dedicated to consulting and training programs. Adriana has developed over 100 complex projects focused on process optimization and team efficiency, collaborating with companies from various industries and of different sizes.

Industry education is a central mission for Adriana, who promotes knowledge and best practices in logistics and supply chain management, both through her role as a trainer at SCMC and through her initiatives aimed at raising the professional level in the field.

She is the founder and Vice President of the Romanian Logistics Association (ARILOG) and an active member of the European Logistics Association (ELA). Since 2022, she has represented ARILOG in dealings with government authorities, playing a key role in adapting logistics processes to new legislative requirements related to the RO eTransport system and ensuring its proper implementation.

Adriana has contributed articles and studies to specialized publications, is the author of the Logistics and Supply Chain Glossary, and has worked on translating and adapting various international articles and market studies.

She is also a frequent speaker at national and international conferences, where she shares experiences from the projects she has developed, offering practical solutions and inspiration to professionals in the field, actively contributing to the education and professionalization of the market.

Through her diverse activities, blending technical expertise, strategic leadership, and social involvement, Adriana remains a prominent figure in the industry.
